Jim Deters is an entrepreneur that has spent the last decade building organizations that deliver elegant web applications with IBM technology. Prior to Ascendant Technology, Jim founded Portal Interactive, Inc., and subsequently CONET's US division, resulting in the successful launch of the you@web product line delivering web content management, portal, and knowledge management solutions. Currently, Mr. Deters is responsible for the strategic direction of Atech and its latest set of asset based consulting offerings. Working with a team of consultants and engineers, Mr. Deters and Atech are creating a suite of assets to creatively solve business problems mixing IBM's enterprise software and the best Web 2.0 applications. Mr. Deters is a business graduate from DePaul University in Chicago with degrees in Economics and Business Management, with a specialty in Entrepreneurship from the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center.
